The wife insisted on having a 24x 30' concrete slab poured for pool,2500 psi with rebar.....Now What? Can I install a above ground pool here?

Yes. You can definitely install a pool on concrete. Just be sure to use foam cove and a gorilla pad to keep the liner from coming in contact with the concrete and the sharp edges of the pool frame work.

It is much simpler to do this with a round pool then an oval. Round pools have no buttresses or straps running across the middle of the pool. An oval would require a lot of sand to cover all that framework of the oval pool. Even then chances are that the sand would eventually wash out from under the liner exposing the water plates and straps to the liner. These sharp edges would likely snag the liner causing holes and leaks in the liner. Leave the ovals on concrete to a professional. Round pools are a piece of cake on concrete.

We have to replace our above ground pool liner. We have the sand in and level and are ready to install the liner. Never done it before. Been all over on-line and read everything. Do we stretch the liner our in the grass on a sunny day then with many people place it on top of the rails not allowing the liner to touch the sand then clip it and add a little water at a time?
OR
Do we put the liner still rolled up into the middle of the pool/sand and unroll it there then drape it over the rails and begin to fill?
