Which kind of filter should I get for a 24' round pool?

The best type of filter or bang for the buck is a good quality cartridge system. Cartridge filters capture smaller particles than a sand filter, yet they are user friendly. Simple enough anyone can clean it. There are many different brands and many models out there. My advice get a name brand Sta-Rite, Hayward, Pentair. Very good brands that you can get parts for anywhere. For a 24' pool maybe something around 100 sq.ft.- 150 sq.ft. 1-1 1/2 hp. pump should be plenty.

Cartridge is the best. A little less maintenance and I would advise to have a couple extra so in case your short on time, simply put the new ones in and clean the dirty ones later. DE get the water very clean but too much hassle.
