Bead receiver works much the same way as pool liner coping by simply holding the liner in place on the pool wall. Bead track is usually made from hard plastic and is much more durable than liner coping strips, however it does tend to lose it's shape over time. When this occurs, the pool liner no longer is held firmly in place and tends to slip out of the track or groove. Although bead receiver is available individually, it's best to replace the entire track at the same time to prevent potential problems.
Another very popular use of bead receiver is converting your overlap liner pool to a beaded liner pool. This is especially handy for those with decks built around their swimming pools. When using bead receiver, the pool deck, top ledges and supporting hardware can be left in place and the liner simply snap in the track from inside the pool. This is a tremendous time saver and well worth the investment. To convert your 24' Round pool, all that is needed is the 19 Piece Bead Receiver Kit and a uni-bead or beaded liner. This kit includes 19 pieces of 48" long bead receiver.
